Common Cause

 

A nonpartisan, grassroots organization that works to create open, honest, and accountable government that serves the public interest; promotes equal rights, opportunity, and representation for all; and empowers all people to make their voices heard in the political process.​ Their efforts are driven by their national headquarters in D.C. and their more than 25 state offices, led by teams of on-the-ground specialists who know how to win impactful reforms that fortify our democracy.​

Demand Progress​

Additionally, they run online campaigns to rally people to take action on the issues that affect them -- by contacting Congress and other leaders, supporting pressure tactics, and spreading the word in their own communities. ​

A cross-ideological nonprofit group dedicated to defeating the authoritatian threat, building more resilient democratic institutions, and protecting our freedom and liberal democracy. Our experts and advocates use litigation, legislative and communications strategies, technology, research, and analysis to stand up for free and fair elections, the rule of law, fact-based debate, and a better democracy for future generations.
