(New York: Bloomsbury, 2010) with a foreword by Bill McKibben. Coordinating workshops at conferences and working on print and television media, including a guest segment on Discovery’s Emeril Green.
Grub: Ideas for an Urban Organic Kitchen
(Tarcher/ Penguin, 2006) with recipes by Bryant Terry and a foreword by Eric Schlosser. Organized more than 100 events in 45 cities, directly reaching 15,000 people. Events included fundraisers, farm dinners, and farmers markets talks. Media coverage in more than 50 newspapers, magazines, including Time, Gourmet, and Food & Wine.
Hope’s Edge: The Next Diet for a Small Planet
(Tarcher/Penguin, 2002) with Frances Moore Lappé. Organized a speaking tour to more than 20 cities, including mother-and-daughter events, community bookstores, and universities.
