Community Food Security Coalition is a national network working toward improving access to healthy food for all and building sustainable food systems, the Coalition works on food policy and has resources for bringing healthy food into your college, school and more.

FarmAid works to keep family farmers on the land to ensure a sustainable and healthy food supply. Visit their website to get their “10 Ways to Ensure Healthy Food” action ideas.

Global Resource Action Center for the Environment (GRACE), the folks who brought you The Meatrix and Sustainable Table, has a web site chock-full of resources about factory farming, healthy eating, and action ideas.

National Campaign for Sustainable Agriculture is a network of local, regional and national groups working for federal policy that supports family farms, sustainable agriculture and a socially just, economically, and environmentally sustainable food system. Their site has great resources on important policy as well as avenues for action.

Oxfam America is committed to creating long-lasting solutions to global hunger, poverty, and social injustice with education and action. Oxfam has a great fair trade program and ideas about how to get involved, particularly for college students.

RESULTS is an international grassroots citizen’s advocacy organization committed to ending hunger and the worst aspects of poverty. RESULTS empowers citizens to realize their own personal and political power.

World Hunger Year (WHY) works to break the cycle of poverty and end hunger by moving beyond emergency feeding to transforming lives and building sustainable communities.
