Getting A Grip: Frances continues to reach out with the message of Getting a Grip: Clarity, Creativity and Courage in a World Gone Mad, through writings, speeches, and radio and TV appearances. The message of Living Democracy is spreading and finding fertile ground across the country...and even overseas! She has been much in renewed demand as a commentator and writer on the world hunger crisis. In 2009 Getting a Grip is being translated and released in Germany and Spain. She releases Getting a Grip 2: Courage Creativity and Courage for the World We Really Want in 2010.
Take a Bite out of Climate Change: Check out Anna’s new project at Take a Bite out of Climate Change. In partnership with groups across the country, Anna launches her national book tour and action campaign in 2010. Discover the links between your fork and global warming, read all about it in Anna’s new book Diet for a Hot Planet, and check out her events across the country. The site, blog, and her new book are helping us to foster a global food system that mitigates the climate crisis, protects natural resources, and provides nourishing, safe, fairly produced food for everyone.
Small Planet Fund Hope-in-Action Fund: Frances and Anna continue to volunteer their time to lead the inspiring Small Planet Fund, which has raised nearly three-quarters-of-a-million dollars to support grassroots anti-hunger and pro-democracy movements worldwide since 2002.
